An jawan allegedly committed suicide at his residence in Mahad in Raigad district after shooting himself with a revolver, police said today.

Rajesh Balkrishna Pilaware, 32, allegedly shot himself while he was alone in the house. His wife and children saw him lying in a pool of blood after returning home yesterday, a local police official said.
