John Legend says although it is difficult to make everyone happy with his music albums, he hopes his fans will at least give him a shot whenever he puts something out.
The 38-year-old singer says his latest studio album 'Darkness and Light' has received a great response from people and industry alike, reported Femalefirst.
"Not everyone is going to be happy with every album and with every song but when I put music out, I do it with the confidence that my fans will love it or at least give it a chance," says Legend.
The "All of Me" singer adds that he feels pressure of making to the top of a chart but sticks to making music that appeals to the public.
"The feedback from 'Darkness and Light' has been amazing and it has been my best-reviewed album to-date... I don't go too much into numbers and charts, what's important is that people love it and I've heard they do," he adds.
