Kannada actress files complaint against former lecturer

Pooja alleged that Kiran Kumar, who was known to her family, had allegedly threatened her with regard to some financial dispute in 2010, police told PTI.

"After two years, just when my engagement has broken, he is now making false allegations against me and defaming me and my family. I request the police to take stringent action against him," she said in her complaint to police.

The case has been registered at the Chennammanakere Achkattu police station and is being investigated.
