Ker govt gives nod for Kochi Metro phase II extension

: The today gave the nod for extension of phase II of Kochi Metro from Jawaharlal Nehru stadium to Infopark, which is estimated to cost Rs. 2,577 crore.

Kochi Metro is also the first Metro in to cover a distance of 13 km in its first phase, from Aluva to Palarivattom, and is expected to be opened in June this year, KMRL officials said.
