Labourer commits suicide over drought

According to family sources, Baijnath was not getting work as agriculture has suffered following continued drought so he hanged himself in Arvai village under Kotwali nagar police station area.

He was also worried about rising debt which he had been taking to meet his daily needs, family sources said.

Meanwhile, police said that Baijnath committed suicide following family problems adding that issues related to debt needed to be probed.
