A committee has been constituted by Lt Governor Anil Baijal towards digitising the investigative processes of Delhi Police.
In a review meeting with the Delhi Police held today, the LG discussed on improving the quality of prosecution and conviction rates.
"Constituted a Committee to suggest possible digitisation of investigative processes. Best practices elsewhere to be emulated (nic)," Baijal tweeted.
He also directed the police department to engage in technical expertise for effective investigation and stressed on increasing the number of investigating officers in the department and enhancing their skills.
"Chaired crime review meeting with Delhi Police. Focus on improving quality of prosecution, and crime solvency & conviction rates (nic)," he said in another tweet.
