Former Chief Secretary Mishra was appointed as the Secretary General of the by Speaker Sumitra Mahajan on December 1, 2014 for a period of two years and his term ended yesterday.



The UP-cadre IAS officer of 1978 batch was appointed the Secretary General of the Secretariat in the rank and status of Cabinet Secretary.

An accomplished civil servant, Mishra has held several important positions at the Centre and in Uttar Pradesh.
