Lucknow Metro's trial run to be held tomorrow

The trail run of government's much publicised Metro will be held tomorrow with Chief Minister and his father supremo Yadav flagging it.

The function for the same will be held at Transport Nagar depot and the trial run will be on 8.5 km stretch till Charbagh station, official sources said here.



The 23-km long North-South corridor will have 21 stations, including eight elevated ones, and the estimated cost of this project will be around Rs 6800 crores.

The primary section (between Transport Nagar to Charbagh) would be open for public on March 26 next year after three months' rigorous trial.

At the function, SP state president is also likely to be present.
