Malooka 'manhandles' cop, invites criticism from opposition

cabinet minister Sikandar Singh Malooka today allegedly abused a policeman posted on security at the entrance to the venue of foundation stone laying ceremony of AIIMS here.

Head Constable Kamaljeet Singh alleged in front of media that he was abused by the minister who used foul and unparliamentry words.

In another incident, a woman was allegedly roughed up and taken into a jeep by security staff for shouting in her attempt to meet the PM while he was delivering his speech.

Prime Minister Modi was here to lay the foundation stone of AIIMS.

Meanwhile, termed the Badal government's "dictatorial high-handedness" after a policeman on duty at Modi's rally was allegedly abused.

However, Malooka was not available for his comments.

Strongly condemning the incident, Pradesh Committee (PPCC) demanded an immediate probe and stern action against Malooka for his imperious behavior.

demanded that the Prime Minister take cognisance of the incident and order immediate and exemplary action against Malooka.
