Trinamool Congress supremo and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will participate in a sit-in organised by the party tomorrow to protest the Centre's demonetisation move.
TMC vice-president and Rajya Sabha MP Mukul Roy, was in the city on to review the preparations said that the sit-in is aimed at garnering support of people, who are affected by demonetisation, against the move.
The party has also planned similar protests in Patna, Odisha, North-East, Punjab and other state capitals to press roll back of demonetisation, he said.
