A man was allegedly beaten to death by four unidentified persons after a druken brawl in Jalalpur locality here, police said today.
The incident took place late yesterday night.
Budhiram (32) and four others were having liquor at a shop and they entered into an altercation over some issue, Superintendent of Police, Sachindra Patel said.
After this, the four allegedly beat Budhiram repeatedly with bricks and feld away from the spot, he said.
The injured was rushed to a hospital in serious condition. He died there during treatment.
An FIR has been registered in this connection and police is trying to nab the accused, the SP said.
