A 22-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly pelting stones at a place of worship breaking window panes at Thokkottu in Dakshina Kannada district. The arrested has been identified as one Sagar, belonging to Bhatnagar in the locality, police said. On hearing some noise, the religious leader at the place of worship who was residing in the premises spotted him and alerted locals. Local people gathered at the spot and after a search found him hiding in a nearby place and caught him.
He was later handed over to police. Police said they recovered ganja and stones from his possession. A case has been registered at Ullal police station.
