Man linked with highway robberies held in Delhi

A man has been arrested for allegedly dealing in goods looted during highway robberies as stolen items worth Rs 15 lakh were recovered from his possession, police said today.

Accused Monu was caught by a team of Crime Branch on a specific input, from Function Ground, DDA Park in Patparganj, yesterday.



Looted goods including shoes, medicines, spare parts, woollen clothes and other merchandise were recovered from him, said Ravindra Yadav, Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch).
