Maximum temperatures hover above normal at many places in UP

Weather remained dry in Uttar Pradesh, with maximum temperatures hovering above normal at many places in the state.

The daytime temperatures were above normal in and Agra divisions. The maximum temperatures were appreciably above normal in Kanpur, Bareilly, Jhansi and Meerut divisions, according to the Meteorological Department.


Banda was the hottest in the state, recording a high of 45 degree Celsius.

The MeT, in its forecast for the next three days, said the weather is likely to remain dry in most parts of the state.

The sky is likely to remain clear in most parts of the state for the next three days, it said.
