In the wake of reports that employees are struggling to withdraw salaries post demonetisation, chief today demanded Prime Minister Modi should participate in the debate on the issue in to discuss the "bad" situation triggered by the move.

"Even the employees are now not getting salaries. They have been queuing up (outside banks/ATMs to withdraw money) since yesterday. The situation is really bad.



"Therefore, party demands that the Prime Minister take part in the debate inside Rajya Sabha. The views he is expressing outside House on the issue, he should express inside," said in the premises.

Though the Prime Minister was present in today, the House was adjourned after the opposition created a ruckus, demanding apology from Modi over his certain remarks against its leaders over demonetisation.
