Migrant Kashmiri employees allege stoppage of salaries

Press Trust of India  |  Jammu

Migrant Kashmiri employees today alleged that the state government had stopped their salaries without any reason and said this had created hardship for them and their families.

The association of the migrant employees appealed to the state and centre governments to ensure that they get their salaries at the earliest.

They said that majority of employees had not received salaries for July and August months and that officials have directed withholding of their salaries from September onwards as well.

They had been employed under the PM's package, they said.
