As the House assembled for the day, Speaker Ishwardas Rohani mentioned about the death of Ravi Shankar and his illustrious contribution to the field of classical music in the world.

Later, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Deputy Leader of the Congress Legislature Party Choudhary Rakesh Singh Chaturvedi, BSP's Ram Lakhan Singh and Independent member Paras Saklecha recalled the rich contribution of Ravi Shankar in the field of music.

After observing a two-minute silence, the Speaker adjourned the House of five minutes as a mark of respect to the musician.

Madhya Pradesh Assembly was adjourned today for five minutes as a mark of respect to noted sitar maestro Pandit Ravi Shankar, who passed away two days back in the US.

As the House assembled for the day, Speaker Ishwardas Rohani mentioned about the death of Ravi Shankar and his illustrious contribution to the field of classical music in the world.
