The body of soldier Chittaranjan Debbarma, who was killed in an attack by terrorists on the Nagrota Army base, will be brought to his ancestral house in Khowai district tomorrow, official sources said today.
"The martyr's body will be taken to his house at Paglabari village in Khowai district tomorrow and will be cremated with full state honours," Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Khowai, Prasun Dey told reporters.
Khowai is about 80 km from here.
Debbarma, 36, is survived by wife Namita, parents and two children.
Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar has condoled his death.
