A two-day national workshop on Intelligent and Energy Efficient LED, Lighting systems will be held here from Aug 13. Senior scientists from the central and state government establishments, senior executives of leading MNCs, academic and research institutions are expected to participate in the workshop being organised by KMEA Engineering College, Edathala, in association with Kerala State Higher Education Council (KSHEC) and Kerala Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE), a release said today. Director of Naval, Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory (NPOL), S Ananthanarayan will inaugurate the workshop, while Head of Department (Computational Biology and Bioinformatics), Kerala University, Dr.
Achuthsankar S Nair will deliver the keynote address. It will feature presentations of papers previously unpublished and meeting the scientifc criteria of significance and academic excellence. The workshop aims to bring together academicians, scientists, leading engineers, industry researchers and scholar students to exchange and share their experience and research findings about all aspects of LED lighting systems and discuss the practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted by them.
