Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today felicitated Prof Diego Andres Golombek, the winner of Unesco Kalinga Prize, 2015.
Congratulating Golombek on behalf of the people of Odisha, the Chief Minister presented him a stole and a silver memento and described him as a distinguished scientist and science communicator.

Cultural Centre of Argentina at Ricardo Rojas Centre in Buenos Aires," Patnaik said.
Appreciating the gesture, Prof Golombek said he feels honoured to be in Odisha. The Kalinga Award has placed Odisha on the global science map. Golombek said he has a great interest in the culture of Odisha and India.
Former Odisha chief minister Biju Patnaik had instituted the Unesco Kalinga Award for popularising science.
