NDMC gardeners to get trained in South Korea, China

Gardeners working in the Municipal Council (NDMC) are set to travel to and to get a hands-on experience of using modern tools and equipments for horticulture.

"With the aim to provide them with modern tools and equipment to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of horticulture department at par with the international standards, NDMC will impart one week's training to its gardeners through international institutions," NDMC Chairman Naresh Kumar said at an event here.



"A contingent will visit and for international exposure in horticulture," he added.

The council had also sent sanitation staff, horticulture officials and road engineers to Singapore, Tokoyo and Seoul last year for training.
