New CJ of Patna High Court sworn in

Justice Rajendra Menon was today sworn in as the Chief Justice of the High by Governor Ramnath Kovind at a function here in Raj Bhawan.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, his Deputy Tejashwi Prasad Yadav and others were present on the occasion.


Judges of High Court, Bihar's Advocate General Ram Balak Mahto and a host of senior advocates and lawyers also attended the programme.

Justice Menon was the Acting Chief Justice of High before his appointment as the Chief Justice of High

High Acting Chief Justice Hemant Gupta has been appointed as the Chief Justice of High

Born on June 7, 1957, Justice Menon did B.Sc. And LL.B. Before getting enrolled as an advocate on August 21, 1981. He practised in the High at Jabalpur.

Justice Menon would retire on June 7, 2019.
