Meanwhile, brass sheet cutting and copper sheet cutting gained on better demand from industrial users.

The industrial metals rebounded at the LME on good demand though trading was cautious amid political and economic uncertainty in Europe.

Nickel fell by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,090 from Monday's closing level of Rs 1,095.

Copper armiture and copper utensils both inched down by a rupee per kg to Rs 467 and Rs 439.

However, brass sheet cutting moved up by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 330 from Rs 328 previously.
