Nine lawyers join PDP

The group of lawyers led by Advocate Sameer Ahmad Dar called on the PDP president Mehbooba Mufti and announced their decision to join the party after having a detailed interaction with her on various issues, a release issued by the party said.

Welcoming the lawyers into the party fold, Mehbooba said PDP provided a progressive platform for all stake holders to realise their talent and work for the development of the state.

The PDP President expressed hope that the association of the young lawyers would serve the party in taking its programme to the masses in a more effective manner and bring in the much needed change in the system.
