District Magistrate B N Singh today appealed to farmers to use modern techniques of agriculture and informed them about various schemes of the Uttar Pradesh government.
The state government has launched various schemes for farmers and they should use it to their benefit, he said at a agriculture mela at Dadri Tehsil.
Dadri MLA Tejpal Nagar was the chief guest for the event.
The district magistrate (DM) also conducted a surprise inspection of the collectorate and found the head clerk was not present.
He was informed that the clerk had gone to the treasury.
Singh directed officers to be present at office during public hearings as the state government had stressed on on speedy redressal of public grievances.
He informed that the admission process for Industrial Training Institute Dadri and Gautam Buddha Nagar Institute had begun.
