Normal life hit in Baripada due to bandh

Normal life was disrupted here today due to a dawn-to-dusk called by to protest drug peddling in this northern town.

Barring stray incidents, the remained peaceful. Bandh supporters also tried to detain trains at Baripada railway station, they said.

The bandh, supported by Baripada district bar association, was called by accusing the district administration of failing to control increasing drug peddling in Baripada.
