One killed, three injured as building collapses at Bhivandi

The three-storey Kuber Hotel building near Apsara Cinema on the Bhiwandi-Kalyan road crashed around 2.30 pm, police said, adding the occupants who were trapped in the debris were being rescued by the firemen.

The three injured were admitted to a local Hospital in the town which is famous for powerlooms. The deceased has been identified as Uddheshwar Paswan.

Heavy downpour since the last night might have led to the crash of the building which was in a state of disrepair, according to police.
