"One-way traffic continued for the second day today from Srinagar to Jammu. However, no vehicles were allowed from Jammu to Kashmir," they said.

Over 200 vehicles stranded on the highway were allowed to proceed to Jammu, police said.

The highway was reopened for one-way vehicular traffic yesterday after a 3-day closure due to snowing and landslides.

  

One-way vehicular traffic continues on JK national highway

One-way road traffic plied for the second consecutive day today on the 300-km-long Jammu-Srinagar national highway which was shut for three days following heavy snowing and landslides.

"One-way traffic continued for the second day today from Srinagar to Jammu. However, no vehicles were allowed from Jammu to Kashmir," they said.

Over 200 vehicles stranded on the highway were allowed to proceed to Jammu, police said.
