More than two lakh pilgrims have paid obeisance at the cave shrine of Amarnath in the south Kashmir Himalayas so far this year, officials said here today.
On the 18th day of the annual pilgrimage today, 7,214 yatris paid obeisance at the cave shrine, said an official spokesman.
He added that a total of 2,02,705 pilgrimsso far had the 'darshan' of the ice-lingam of Lord Shiva at the cave shrine, situated at a height of 3,880 metres, since the beginning of the 40-day pilgrimage this year, which would conclude on August 7.
