Patel's victory symbol of Cong fight against communalism:

Former speaker today hailed the victory of Ahmed Patel in polls from Gujarat, saying it is a symbol of the Congress' fight against "communal forces" all over

Addressing a programme commemorating the 75th anniversary of 'Quit Movement', Kumar said, "is fighting all over the country against the threat of communalism. We will never allow anybody to divide our society or spread communalism in our country."

Kumar was opposition parties' nominee in the presidential election held last month and she lost to BJP-led NDA's candidate Ram Nath Kovind.
