Actress Patti LuPone said she would not entertain US President Donald Trump if he ever shows up to watch her Broadway show, "War Paint".
Speaking on the red carpet of the recently-concluded 2017 Tony Awards, the 68-year-old veteran actress said she would refuse to perform in the musical if Trump comes to watch the show, reported Variety.
"Well I hope he doesn't (come), because I won't perform if he does," said LuPone.
LuPone was nominated in the best lead actress category at the event for "War Paint".
The atmosphere of intolerance in the US under Trump administration also found mention in the politically-charged speeches of stars like Cynthia Nixon, Kevin Kline and Stephen Colbert at the awards.
