Pattinson to give first interview since Stewart's affair

The actor will promote his upcoming film "Cosmopolis" on ABC's 'Good Morning America' on August 15, the Hollywood Reporter said.

The British actor, who shot to global fame with his turn as a vampire in 'Twilight' series opposite Stewart, has been lying low after his girlfriend publicly apologised to him for her affair with Rupert Sanders, the married director of her film 'Snow White and the Huntsman'.

Her apology came after Stewart and Sanders were photographed in compromising positions by a magazine.

It is not yet clear if Pattinson will hit more of the talk show and late-night circuit during promotions. He is yet to address the situation publicly.
