Pavement dweller crushed to death by car not identified yet

The pavement dweller, who was crushed to death under the wheels of a car allegedly driven by a DPS student in Kashmere Gate area, has not been identified yet, police said today.

One of the injured persons, Asif, is in a critical condition and was shifted to the ICU of LNJP Hospital, they said, adding another injured person Karan was discharged after treatment.

His parents came to from Agra to take him away. He had left his home and was staying here, police said.

A pavement dweller was yesterday killed and three others were injured after being run over by a car allegedly driven by a Class XII student of DPS Mathura Road, police said.

The student had told police that he is epileptic and was not allowed to drive. He always borrowed vehicles from his friends and drove them.
