Per capital income of Mizoram increases to Rs 95,317: Survey

The per capita of witnessed an increase of 11.27 per cent at Rs 95,317 in 2015-16 from Rs 85,659 in 2014-2015, according to the Economic Survey laid in the today.

The Economic Survey was laid in the assembly by Minister Lalsawta.

Mizoram's annual rate (provisional as of December 2016) on point to point basis for was 0.24 per cent against the all rate of 3.41 per cent, the Survey said.

The decrease in the rate of is due to the corresponding fall in the all inflation rate which occurred as a result of sharp fall in the prices of of vegetable and paddy since July, 2016.
