Shares of Piramal Enterprises soared over 10 per cent today after the company reported a 61 per cent growth in consolidated net profit for the fourth quarter ended March.
The stock jumped 9.84 per cent to settle at Rs 2,866.10 on BSE. Intra-day, it soared 12.74 per cent to Rs 2,941.90 -- its 52-week high.
At NSE, shares of the company surged 10.26 per cent to close at Rs 2,866.25.
The stock had surged nearly 3 per cent on Friday also.
Piramal Enterprises on Friday reported a 61.06 per cent growth in consolidated net profit at Rs 310.96 crore for the fourth quarter ended March, riding high on robust growth in all verticals.
The company had posted a net profit after non-controlling interest, share of profit or loss of associates and joint ventures of Rs 193.07 crore for the same period a year ago.
Consolidated total income also rose to Rs 2,548.96 crore for the quarter under consideration as against Rs 1,742.79 crore a year ago.
