PM will inaugurate several highways in next 6 months: Gadkari

Prime Minister Modi will present a "big gift" to Delhiites by inaugurating several in the next six months, to free the city from traffic jams and pollution, Union Minister said today.

In the last two years, the has provided Rs 40,000 crore for infrastructure development in Delhi, Gadkari said while addressing the BJP's two-day executive meeting.

The expansion of NH-24 heading towards Meerut with an expenditure of Rs 6,000 crore will use the waste dumped at landfill site providing a big relief to the locals, he said.
