Rajasthan: 2 arrested with illegal arms

Two persons were today arrested near Indo-Pak border in Sriganganagar district for illegal possession of firearms, police said.

A joint team of BSF and local police raided the house of one Baldev Singh in Anupgarh after a tip-off and recovered a pistol and ten live cartridges from his possession.



Baldev then led the police to Sudhir Bishnoi who was later arrested from his residence. A gun was also recovered, police said.

A case has been filed and the matter is under investigation.
