Tamil superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming 'Kaala' directed by Pa Ranjith is all set to hit the screens on April 27, producer of the movie and actor Dhanush said today.
'Kaala Karikalan' is directed by Ranjith, who shot to fame with Rajinikanth's 'Kabali' and also 'Madras'.
"Mark the date !!#kaala #april27 the don of dons is back #Superstar #thalaivar," Dhanush, also the son-in-law of Rajinikanth tweeted.
Dhanush's 'Wunderbar Films' is producing the flick.
The actor also shared an image of the picture in which Rajinikanth, clad in a black outfit, seen sitting on a chair.
In May 2017, Dhanush released the first image of 'Kaala Karikalan' to be produced by Wunderbar Films.
Music is composed by Santhosh Narayan.
The film had earlier courted controversy with the adopted son of Mumbai don, late Haji Mastan, alleging the plot was based on his father's life.
The makers had however denied it.
Recently, talking to reporters, Rajinikanth had said computer graphics work were going on for his magnum opus '2.0' directed by Shankar, which also has actor Akshay Kumar and actress Amy Jackson.
