In futures, castorseeds for June expired, while September contract recovered modestly owing to speculative offtake amid good export enquries.

In the edible-segment, refined palmolein slid by Rs 3 per 10 kg to Rs 599 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 602.

Turning to non-edible, Linseed oil declined by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 705 as compared to Rs 710 last weekend.

Moving to futures, castorseed for the September contract resumed lower at Rs 3,025, but later surged to Rs 3,075 before closing at Rs 3,070 as compared to Rs 3,041 last weekend, showing a modest gain of Rs 29 per tonne.

However, groundnut oil, castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial all closed unchanged at Rs 1,180, Rs 2,925 and Rs 615 respectively.
