Renomania in talks with PE firms to raise up to 5 million

Press Trust of India  |  New Delhi

Online home decor platform Renomania today said it is in talks with investors to raise up to USD 5 million for expansion.

Renomania.Com, which was angel funded by Sundeep Malhotra, founder and ex-CEO of Homeshop18, said it has opened its first major revenue stream through a tie-up with India's leading e-commerce player in the home and lifestyle space Amazon.In.

"As part of this association, Renomania will now allow homeowners to purchase home decor and lifestyle items, furniture and fittings - as featured in its 'look book' - from the e-commerce player," a company statement said.

Renomania is in talks with other leading stores to enable commerce through its platform.

"It is also in talks with PE and VC investors for funding of up to USD 5 million," Renomania said.

Founded in September 2015, Renomania is a start-up which aims to bring homeowners and designers on a common platform to address the problems faced while redesigning homes.

Navneet Malhotra, Co-founder, Renomania said these tieups would help the company in becoming the one-stop destination for homeowners looking to create their dream homes.
