"Ross getting back to form is good for us ahead of the playoffs," Jayawardene said of the New Zealander, who struck a blazing half century at the Feroz Shah Kotla last night.

Jayawardene said the bowling options at his disposal were limited.

The Sri Lankan was hopeful of getting the winning momentum back.

"We have been doing very well through the tournament and we want to continue the momentum in the coming matches."

He also had words of praise for Chris Gayle, whose unbeaten century laid the foundation for RCB's convincing win.
