A sharpshooter, who allegedly killed a Delhi-based contractor on Wednesday at a court here, was arrested today, police said.
Upon a specific input, the police arrested Bobby, resident of Gazipura, near Gaur Green avenue society in Indirapuram, Superintendent of Police (City) Akash Tomar said.
A country-made pistol of 315 bore, three live cartridges and a motorcycle were seized from him, he said.
Tomar said the July 12 shootout, which took place near Hindan river barrage was a result of gang war going on for a long time on the issue of vehicle parking contract.
Mintoo and his driver Nagendra had received serious injuries when they were shot at by Bobby when they were returning after attending a date of an under trial case. Both were rushed to a nearby hospital where Mintoo was declared as brought dead.
A named FIR was lodged by Mintoo's friend Manoj at the Indirapuram police station against seven persons.
"Bobby is a dreaded criminal. Around half-a-dozen cases are lodged against him in different police stations of the NCR," Tomar said.
