Director Shawn Levy is in negotiations to helm sci-fi movie "Crater".
The project is being financed by 20th Century Fox with a script from John J Griffin, reported Variety.
The story of the film is set on a lunar mining colony and charts a boy growing up after the death of his father, and facing being permanently relocated to another planet.
Levy will also produce the film, along with Dan Levine of 21 Laps, the banner responsible for hit Netflix show "Stranger Things".
