Small Sugar rise on millers demand

Meanwhile, Medium sugar witnessed a mixed pattern of trading on alternate bouts of buying and selling.

Small Sugar (S-30) firmed up by Rs 10 per quintal to Rs 2,962/3,002 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 2,952/3,002.

Medium Sugar (M-30) was quoted at Rs 3,052/3,181 as against Rs 3,042/3,191 yesterday.

The following are today's closing rates for sugar (per quintal) with the previous rates given in brackets:

Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 2,962/3,002 (Rs 2,952/3,002).

Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 3,052/3,181 (Rs 3,042/3,191).
