The son of a former Jharkhand MLA died early today after his car crashed into a divider in southwest Delhi's Vasant Kunj, the police said. The accident took place around 1 am when Sawarnim Shankar was driving from Andheria More to Mahipalpur.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead, they said. He was the son of former Jharkhand legislator Mani Shankar. It is suspected that the car was being driven at a high speed and the driver lost control of the vehicle, the police said.
