A son of a head constable was shot dead by a group of assailants in Solan town, triggering protests by locals, police said today. The assailants, who were in a car bearing a Haryana registration number, fired three shots at Lucky who was riding a motorcycle. He was rushed to a hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
