South west monsoon normal in Bihar

Light to moderate rainfall occurred at most places across with south west monsoon remaining normal in the state.

Meteorological Centre has forecast more rainfall in the next 24 hours in the state.

As per a bulletin, moderate to heavy rainfall occurred at south eastern parts of the state.

The state capital Patna, which witnessed generally cloudy sky with with a couple of spells of light rains, registered 3 mm rainfall, the office said.

Gaya registered 19.0 mm rainfall, while Bhagalpur received 3 mm rains today, it said.

Purnea recorded a maximum temperature of 34.4 degrees Celsius followed by 33.4 deg C in Patna, 32.8 deg C in Bhagalpur and 31.3 deg C in Gaya, the bulletin said.
