At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, soybean for delivery in January contracts strengthened Rs 44, or 1.37 per cent, to Rs 3,248 per quintal, with an open interest of 71,800 lots.

The delivery for February also advanced Rs 31, or 0.95 per cent, to Rs 3,284 per with an open interest of 2,66,050 lots.
