Stolen PDS rice seized

weighing 60 quintals meant for the public distribution system were seized by police at Amingaon near Guwahati.

On a tip off, the CID personnel seized the rice from a truck coming from Barpeta towards Guwahati last night, police said.

Two persons in the truck were arrested and the truck seized, the sources said adding, investigations are on.
