"There have been a few stray incidents in three places because of personal rivalry. We have quickly taken action and controlled them," he said. He said that Durga Puja and Muharram had been celebrated 'peacefully' in the state. Kolkata Police Commissioner Rajeev Kumar, state Director-General of Police Surajit Kar Purkayastha, Home Secretary Malay Dey, IG law and order Anuj Sharma were also present with him.
